28.02. - THURSDAY

Vidzeme Innovation Conference, "Innovation for Development", Day2

Working language: English

The 2nd day of the conference is an excellent opportunity to hear the experience of experts from organizations which are well known in Europe in order to draw up new ideas, knowledge, and encouragement for their actions. More than 10 opinions and experiences on what global economic trends are; do we know about them whether we can “get along” them? Will, what we do today in business be relevant tomorrow? And if all of us will begin to innovate, who will be the leading one?

Unused or newfound potential of resources combined with the competent staff and partnership in foreign countries - is it the future of Vidzeme or already existing reality?

Representatives of Latvia business support bodies and local entrepreneurs will also join the discussions, to compare international opportunities with domestic ones.

Elsewhere, is the innovation support environment more organized? Perhaps, by hearing foreign experience, we will not hesitate to realize that there are other hundred things to do better.

TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY! During the Conference 20 minutes speed-consulting will be offered to have a quick talk with business development advisers to innovate, develop or create your own business (Pre-registration required).

NB! The working language of the conference will be English with translation to Latvian.

How to see unused potential in resources?
Sometimes the most valuable things simply are not recognized by us. In Vidzeme the wood resource is in a sufficient quantity. Maybe that's the root of the problem - not trying to use every square meter in the forest. A tree is not just a log!

Collaborate across borders - it's not just export!
Recently, in a study, we found that, for the most part, entrepreneurs with an "internationalization" only understand exports. But what exactly is it and how wide are the possibilities in reality when physical boundaries no longer exist?
